Twins

It's been a year since the magnificent Singh Twins first did us the honour of opening our exhibition of art with a mental health theme (www.blipfoto.com/entry/2099268261483906876 )

Today they were back again to attend the private view of this year's exhibition, entitled 'Respect'. Once again they were wonderfully friendly, chatty and huggy and they spent ages speaking to the artists, offering encouragement and taking a real interest in everyone's experiences. Huge thanks to them.

This year we had submissions from a wide range of artists from across Merseyside - all of whom have had some personal experience of mental distress - and the standard was incredibly high. We've had to expand to two venues (Unit 51 and Constellations) in order to display all the pieces selected by Jazamin (www.blipfoto.com/entry/2229882685034073477 ) and her colleagues on our art panel and it was great to see so many of the artists at Unit 51 this evening.
