Towel #1

Plain, or tabby, weave with a white weft. The bottom where it curves around the beam is the header, woven with a scrap of green weft. This evens up the warp threads and will be taken out when the weaving is finished. The next section that looks rather bare is the hem and is woven with sewing thread to minimize the bulk in the hem. The white section above it is the actual towel. The rest of this towel will be woven this way.
