Good bye.....

Gorgeous and perfect fall day....we walked to the French patisserie, had a latte and treats on the patio in the sunshine. We then had a poke through a wonderful ladies wear shop then home again. It was a nice long walk and prepared my good friend for the 6 hours of flying she has to do to return to her home in British Columbia. The fall colours are stunning, if only we could keep it this way for next 4 months. Unfortunately we are only about a month away from snow (Alberta and Saskatchewan have already been hit with about 30 cm of the fluffy white stuff...unusually early). I finished off the day with a bike ride to the pool for my laps and then dinner and chocolate chip cookie making!
