Eggs
I've never had a really fresh, hen-to-table egg. I've heard from others that they taste wonderful and infinitely better than the store-bought kind. Of course the selection in the stores is vast - brown or white, medium, large or extra large, free range or caged, vegetarian feed or other, and organic or not. We even have a brand called Eggland's Best, which claims to have a higher nutritional content and better taste. But today I spotted these on the shelf for the first time, and had to blip them. What makes a happy egg? Happy chickens, or a pretty box? Are these hens happier than other free-range hens? Are they worth the higher price? It will be interesting to see.
