Bookends

I went up to Carlisle for the Borderlines Book Festival and listened to Joanna Cannon talk about her book 'The Trouble with Goats and Sheep' and then Salley Vickers give a talk entitled 'Life, Death, Place and Art'. The photo is the Bookends bookshop, where I spent a considerable time exploring its rooms and corridors and slightly musty-smelling basement. (It also has an excellent coffee and cake shop.)
