Before and after

Today was the day when G bit the bullet and went into the pond to do the annual clearance. The lilies had put on so much growth that they had floated up to the surface despite being weighed down with paving slabs or bricks. He pruned away all the leaves and chopped some in half,then re-weighted them down.I relayed the prunings to the compost whilst minding a mini
bonfire!
