Neglect

Neglect seems to be a recurring theme, so I'll go with it!
This buddleia is now huge, after a lack of any attention since last year. It blocks the way to the shed now. To reach it, you have to duck under it and push past the blooms, releasing a heady fragrance as you do so. The shed seems like a gateway to Narnia after that. Alas, it too speaks of neglect. Shelves needing cleared of bulbs never planted, garden tools and pots. The pots outside have rooted with weeds, some so pretty I'm considering keeping them. I try to feel guilty for neglecting my garden for so long, but instead, there are delights I would have missed otherwise. It's all about perspective :)
