Greek Amphitheatre
We walked up to the Greek Amphitheatre this morning which is built for the most part of brick, and dates back to the Romans although the style is Greek. It's supposed that the present structure was built on the foundations of an older theatre of the Greek period. Concerts are often held here, and one we enjoyed back in 2012 was Ennio Morricone conducting some of his film scores; it was wonderful music in a magical setting.
Today there was a group of seniors - alumni from an American University visiting. They were a super crowd and it was great to see what good friends they all were, and just how much they were enjoying their holiday.
