Emirates Cable Car

This is an expensive way to cross a river and when the cable cars halted mid air for about five minutes, I was glad to have my feet terra firma.

The Emirates Cable Car crosses the Thames to and from the south side at Greenwich Peninsula to the Excel Exhibition Centre on the North Bank.
If only they would build a footbridge here.
