Vernet les Bains

I met up for coffee in the square having done the usual Saturday shopping. We have friends coming for a meal so a lamb tagine was prepared.  It was another lovely autumn day.  A walk above Corneilla gives a good idea of how our village nestles below the sacred mountain of the Catalans, le Canigou on the left of the photo.  It won't be long before the first of the winter snows fall.
