A sad day: A dear colleague's leaving do.

Henry and I started just two weeks apart nine years ago and back then it was just the two of us in the West Midlands region, now there are many many more. So you can see why it was a sad day, especially as we've seen a lot of change and upheaval recently. I shall miss his excellent witty banter and attempts to make me ring odd places on April Fool's Day. He got me with Mr. C. Lyon that rang the National Sealife Centre in Brum. One year's  attempt was going to be Mr. Terry Akki at, predictably, a Japanese restaurant. He failed!

This photo is of one of the always interesting and always different drinks at the Original Patty Men, a most excellent burger bar in a grotty railway arch in Digbeth where we gave Henry a splendid send off.

Ps Henry took my 'avatar' photo nearly 9 years ago on a redundant piece of railway line in Pelsall, it's been in use ever since for Facebook, Blipfoto and even the work intranet!
