A day of remembrance

I was leading morning prayers at the esteemed institution. Today we remembered 2ns Lieutenant John MacGregor Miller who was killed 100 years ago today at the battle of the Sommes. He had been a student at the esteemed institution.
Later in the morning I attended my neighbour's funeral. A wonderful lady, taken too soon. These words on the order of service have really challenged me - don't cry because its over, smile because it happened. RIP dear M. You will be missed. Xx
