Old Bridge Piers.
Out sharp this morning on one of our wild goose chases. And boy did we see some! We spotted quite a large number in a field but there was just nowhere to stop so we drove on down to South Alloa. I hopped over a fence to get this shot of the old railway bridge when I heard a major commotion and looked up. Several large skeins were flying over, at least two thousand strong! Those geese are definitely back!
The old bridge carried a single track rail line across the Forth and had a swinging section to allow the passage of ships up the river.
