Grinding

Lucky for me my friend has a garage and some serious metal working skills. 
 
We had another blocked drain this week and the old concrete lid for the manhole finally gave its last.  So JJ has helped me create a temporary steel cover until we arrange to have the driveway and drains replaced in the not too distant future.
 
This was JJ in his element grinding metal and welding stuff together.
 
Got home and the new temporary lid fitted in place perfectly.  Just need to give it a coat of spray paint now to protect it from the elements.
