From Devils Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale. 

We drove to Kendal in separate cars and dropped the Fiesta off for it's service, MOT, summer to winter tyre change, mirror repair and wash. They said the latter was free so it seemed silly not to take advantage of it.

We had a walk up the Lune to Ruskin's View (as painted by Turner) but  were unimpressed  -  perhaps it was due to the weather. Then back to the start and along the riverside the other way for a while.

Finished the outing with tea and a bacon butty from the snack bar.
