the 'perks'

We had the most wonderful and amazing and enjoyable day in London at the Olympics. My ex-husband and the father of my two eldest children is was the Race Technical Director for the Marathon swim in Hyde Park. He moved from being near the children at the end of 2010 to take up the post and while they have enjoyed their trips to visit him in London have certainly missed having him near by...

But today they got their 'reward and experienced being part of the Olympics with him and all the 'perks' that it brought with it. Including a zip around the Serpentine on the Press boat!

Meanwhile I was left on the shore side fending off people who were cueing for their turn!

A day where lifetime memories were made...
