It is Friday

Last night a new face, an awesome sax player, Kyran Matthews at Burgundy's and a must to sketch. 
To his left is Tim Franks and this is more than you generally see of him behind his drums and of course I could only choose one of the very many facial expressions that he makes when he is drumming! 
They were both in the Steve Oakes band, the others being Steve himself on guitar and John Sandham on bass. 
A great night but tinged with sadness as we heard that Vinnie Parker had died.  He was an inspiration, playing his keyboards with an impish smile and always so positive and modest.  We will miss him greatly.
