Swanage Railway, Norden - the end of the line....

.... well, Norden station is the end of the line for the moment.  

The Railway's diesel locomotive will soon - probably early in 2017 -  be providing a trial regular passenger service between Swanage and Wareham.  At Wareham the Swanage Railway line meets the main line from Weymouth to London.

Photographed from Norden platform, this is steam locomotive Manston switching lines to be attached to the carriages going to Swanage.  The points are operated manually here.
