Gruffalo hunting

Today we went on a gruffalo walk at a local forest.

The boys had heaps of fun hunting for Fox, Owl, Snake, Mouse and of course the Gruffalo. They also hunted around Snake's logpile house for bugs, insects and pinecones.

But the best moment was finding the Gruffalo...

Although today also brought a reminder that childhood innocence doesn't last long. When telling Nan about the walk CJ described the Gruffalo as an adult dressed up as the gruffalo...

Looks like a simple costume isn't enough fool this kid anymore!
