For Helen

I've had this shot in mind for ages. I took it once before seven years ago, and came back to take it a few weeks ago but ended up in the wrong place!

It was always going to be dedicated to Helen, who has travelled in these parts recently but didn't make it to Morro Branco, north of Fortaleza in Brazil. She's a strong swimmer, living in Australia, and I thought this would appeal on all fronts.

So, some intensified research brought me back here, and a marvellous two hour buggy ride along the shore and up and down the dunes behind. DD and I were here together last time and I missed her terribly today, but I was able to do a Skype video from the restaurant on the beach, where I'm about to have some lobster au naturel, and remind her of what it is like.

So, here's a toast to Helen, DD and every blipper, well kent or visiting for the first time, who looks in today!
