Through the Gate

The grass is greener on the other side? Well maybe it is on this occasion. Going through the gate into the Walled Garden at Castle Fraser. Greener maybe, warmer it was not. Wind was quite cool, and only occasional glimpses of sunshine.

The day started with a superb fruit meringue with lots of cream. Considering there was a good helping of fresh fruit I guess I can claim it was a healthy breakfast.

It is almost the middle of August, so it must be Christmas soon. At least I assume it must be as I saw Christmas displays at the Raemoir Garden Centre. Could it be they are a little ahead of themselves?
