Magnolia

The rain over the last couple of days have faded these flowers a little, but at least the tree & its flowers, which over the last two springs has been buffeted with nor-west winds, have survived.  
This spring (so far) has been different - to qualify that, this morning we noticed snow on the foothills, no wonder I've been cold!!  The unpredictability of spring. However, the sun has shone all day, the air fresh to say the very least.
I love the deep burgundy colour.

Our friends came out this morning to catch up with our meanderings, so lovely to see them and hear about their comings and goings as well.  Endless chatter.

We just chilled this afternoon.
