Not that I ever need an excuse to dip into my favourite poetry anthology "Staying Alive", edited by Neil Astley.

So many favourites but this one I can quote by heart - deliciously politely vicious! I reckon "Chilli con carne without any chilli is only a plateful of mince" is one of the best "ouch" lines ever!
