Who's watching Who

A long drive last night.  +1 C / 34 F hard rain,  -3 C / 27 F freezing fog and mix precipitation on the top of the passes...

After getting parked I went out for a walk and found a really old tree with abundant life.. For thirty minutes I just watched the world go by.. I saw 8 different kinds of birds and two chipmunks..

I had crystal clear photos of this young flicker but I just liked the expression on this photo...

The extra is some new dust on the rocks.. When I stopped for my break I was watching the sunrise hoping to get a photo.. Looking west instead I saw this... 

In Montana for a few days....
