Thirty years of Hospice

Hubby and I attended a civic cocktail party, hosted by the Mayor, to commemorate 30 years of Hospice in Port Elizabeth.
It was moving to hear of their work, and wonderful meeting up with a former colleague of mine - we worked together at the Pretoria Sungardens Hospice many years ago.
The lady in the photo is the founding matron, retired but still actively involved.
After one day of respite from the wind yesterday, we are being blown away again....
