A Grand day out

I'm still tickled by the fact that I can get a train direct to London from my local station in this little West Yorkshire town.
I wasn't going to London but to meet a friend in Leeds station and then on to near Skipton to visit a friend who is recovering from surgery.
We took lunch with us and had a lovely time. Really good to see her looking a lot better than when we saw her last in hospital. Still a way to go.
I hadn't expected this to be my blip but we were so busy putting the world to rights that the camera stayed in my bag.
