Aster frikartii 'Monch'

Another bit of fieldwork ticked off today in very chilly autumnal weather, with a brisk northerly wind that blasted across the Nene Washes. I wasn't sure whether there would be much to photograph, so took a few shots of my latest purchase for the garden before I set off. Gorgeous colours!
