Villandry

The weather was much better today which was a relief - spent the morning looking round the gardens at Villandry which are rather spectacular and very neatly laid out.

After a picnic lunch we headed to see Azay-le-rideau, another chateau in the area, sadly it's half covered in scaffolding as it's being restored. It was still pretty impressive though. I'd like to go back when it's finished.

We had takeaway pizza for tea as we were all pretty tired from a busy day visiting chateaus.
