Burgled

We were burgled at around five am this morning. They smashed a window in our back door then came to the front and stove this window in. They got my laptop without coming in and without tripping the alarm, maybe using a pole with a hook. We were asleep upstairs right above the shattered window and we heard nothing - that's the scary thing.
May their lives be miserable and extremely long.
Lesson learned - don't leave things lying around from now on.
