Grasses hold sway

I'm back home in the Perthshire hills, although I couldn't see much of them this morning due to low lying cloud. The grasses however were dancing in the wind and caught my eye as the dogs bounded through them re-visiting their usual haunts on the moorland.

It is a quick blip today as I have been busy turning myself round after my week away and getting ready for my visitors. My daughter and 3 boys are on their way up north from Reading and should be here in about an hour's time. They have been lucky enough to attend a few days at the Olympic Stadium so I am looking forward to their impressions.

With the family here I may not be able to catch up much with commenting on your journals but at least this week I hope to be able to view them. Thank you very much to those of you who continued to view and comment, also leaving stars and hearts, while I was unable to reciprocate. I appreciate that very much. I have since had a revised ID on my blip of the Pine woods as the cranberries I referred to were in fact cowberries (or whortleberries). Thanks to AJTaylor.

I hope your Sunday has been good.
