Bruce Foxton

I'm not sure I really do heroes, but when I saw The Jam back in about 1981 (ish) they were one of the best things I'd ever seen.  That they turned up late didn't really matter, it kind of made the gig all the better to a 17 year old me.  I loved the way Foxton's bass and Weller's guitars seemed to spar off against each other, alternating as a kind of duel.  So it was a massive kick to get to see Bruce Foxton tonight looking as cool as ever and giving the bass riffs I'd grown up with.  Top night.
