This one church downtown...
What is going on in the photo?
I am walking downtown with my mom after dropping off my little sister at ballet class, and I see this church. I think that it will be a cool thing to post on my photo journal. I tilted my mom's phone to put that little pizzazz on my picture and then my picture turned out like the amazing one that you see above! ( I didn't have my phone at the time )
How is it related to a specific concept from the current unit or previous units?
It is related to our current unit about population. Not just population by itself (number of people) but the number of people or percentage that consider themselves to be Christian. The link below states that 77% of the U.S. population consider themselves to be Christian. To break this down even further the following percentages show the different Christian groups in America: 52% Protestant, 23% Catholic and 2% Mormon.

Link the image to one of the five themes of geography with an explanation of how it relates.
Location: I chose location because somebody might need to know the exact location of this church, relating to morning services if they are Christian. And for relative location someone may be explaining directions and mention the church as a landmark when going to a place that is near the church in downtown Fredericksburg. The church would help them find the place they are looking for.
