The last straw ....

Another busy one today. Started off filling another load of grain into a bin at 6am then had to go and get diesel for the dryer before setting another load to dry.
Brought some cows and calves in from the lambing field and moved them to another field as they were getting a bit short of grass. Then put out the 16 cows that we weaned last week. Then clipped and vaccinated their calves .
Went away to bale the last of the straw after lunch. Got a phone call from Lothian Tractors to see if I could leave them some rows to test a square baler with knotter problems . If I had known I would have left the steepest part of the field for their 210 Hp tractor instead of struggling up the hill with my 120 !
Silage to bale tomorrow so fingers crossed again that the weather holds .
