Alex

Today I attended the funeral of our dear friend Alex who it has to be said was one of the most inspirational people I have or probably will ever meet. A sharper wit, a more determined man, a better badminton partner I doubt I will meet ever.

At 87 he was still walking 5 miles a day and playing badminton twice a week. And he would play through the pain barrier and suffer for a couple of days afterwards.

A truly inspiration.
