Ink caps

Spotted these on the grass verge at lunchtime as I walked to the shop. They looked like rather sinister aliens emerging from the earth! MrM is of the opinion that they are common ink caps, sometimes called alcohol ink caps as they can cause a very acute reaction to alcohol.

All go when I got back from work. Janet popped for a quick cup of tea, and L&M came for a meal before they went down to the pub with MrM for the Irish music session. And Louie has been unwell.
