The last rose

l don't see any more rose buds around the garden but this one is looking and smelling quite delicious today.  Not bad for the first week of October.  We have had another beautiful day but the wind is building and is definitely quite cool.  Perhaps l will light a lovely warm fire tonight and watch Bake Off with hot chocolate and my slippers on.. haha!!
