Butterfly

There were a kaleidoscope of these butterflies on the flowering ivy this afternoon, basking in the sunshine. 

Am loving that the name for a group of butterflies is 'kaleidoscope'.  A group of caterpillars is called an army.  I am nothing if not an education!
