They are still here
The first thing I saw on our arrival back from Wales were our seagull chicks from behind the chimney, were still in residence but now they were the size of their parents! The next thing was the garden and the length of the grass!! Ah well.
This morning just before we left our holiday house, I was sat in the garden when a little swift flopped down on the grass beside me and although he flapped his little wings he could not take off again. I walked over to him and gently picked him him up and as I held him I wished him well on his long trip to Africa then gently tossed him in the air and off he went. At times we all need a little help.
