Lunch time in Kyoto

After a good nights sleep we wandered the back lanes of the neighbourhoods around us getting our bearings and settling into our adventure. We walked to the Central Post Office near Kyoto Station and picked up a package that was waiting for us with all the info we needed for our upcoming walk! Then found a very tiny Cafe tucked away and had a marvellous lunch.

The restaurant is owned by the lovely young Japanese woman shown here. Love this one of her framed against the window and between the water jugs. So at home in her little kitchen.
