Central heating

Turned it on recently, but the timer has stopped working. I've now got a new timer, but I haven't fitted it yet as the existing one seems to be mounted in a way which makes it impossible to get if off without taking drastic action which will damage the mounting. Unfortunately not well today, and finding it difficult to do anything which involves physical activity.
