Owen Roe

A stellar winery in Newberg, Oregon that we visited today, on an unplanned spur of the moment impulse country ride.
Named after Owen Roe O'Neill, the co-owner couples from Northern Ireland are producing some of the finest wines in Oregon, and trust me, that says a lot.

A bit of historical trivia connected to the background of the Sinister Hand red blend is included.
And proof of our own love of this one, which we enjoyed with some great stew that Layne had in the freezer.
