Cake
It was a brillant day of walking and sightseeing and the weather was lovely. I took lots of photos but didn't much like any of them. I had not been concentrating.
This was taken at the end of the day as the light was fading, at Bellanoch. It is looking towards Crinan, over part of the Moine Mhor, Europes last great active peat bog. It is slowly swelling and rising at the rate of 1cm a year, a great cake. It is a beautiful expanse of golden brown grasses ringed by hills and overlooked by Dunadd, the ancient hill fort, but it's hard to photograph.
