Grass Cuttings

I have not managed to do a good job of cutting our lawns, since before I snapped my Achilles tendon on the left leg; this was done some five months ago.  Although I have managed to ride the mower with an orthopaedic boot on, and I have hacked at the lawns, today’s efforts were the most complete cut that the lawn has had in this time.  Because of this a huge quantity of cuttings was removed, as shown by my pile in the picture, which is about two metres high and two metres wide, although it is not two metres deep, it is still very much, a huge quantity of grass cuttings.  Hopefully, I can get away now with not cutting it until next Spring; well I can always hope!
