A last drop of summer

It was a day of hazy autumn sunshine but I was tired after my jaunt yesterday so you have a blip from my garden.

This is for TinyTuesday.  The geranium is approx 2cms across - pretty, isn't it - and behind it is a piece of lavender.  A reward for not cutting back the lavender when it should have been done is that it's now producing a few more flowers, for which both the bees and I are grateful!

Choir tonight (practising Christmas carols, oh lawks!) so I will do what commenting I can tonight and finish off tomorrow.  Thank you so much for being kind to my quarreling egrets yesterday :))
