Memories of Stones

11pm and no blip, often the story of my life at the moment. Wandered around the lounge and settled on this little bowl of stones.
Very special memories of my visit to The Orkneys in 2005. The bowl and 5 of the stones I bought whilst there for 24 hours. A wonderful visit. Strangely when I looked at the bottom of it tonight I see that is actually made on The Isle of Lewis. We visited there in 2012. So now I feel it is doubly special.
How I loved visiting some of the Islands off Scotland. In 2005 went to the Orkneys, Mull and Iona, then in 2012 went to Lewis, Harris and Skye.
They were two amazing trips shouted to me by some fantastic friends. Now I just have to enjoy NZ but it is pretty special too.
