Celebrations

One of these difficult days: choosing the blip. We drove around the eastern part of El Cabo Del Gata visiting villages and bays and viewing old fortifications. Lots of picture postcard views of surf and sand.

At the end of the day I chose this one. We'd met up with friends - Kenneth and I met in Primary 1 some 55 years ago. And Joyce, his wife, in 1974? Kenneth and a Joyce have an apartment 30 minutes away from where we are staying.

Her birthday is the day after mine so we met up with some of their golfing friends. The extra is of a hand made mosaic of the Magic Roundabout at the restaurant we visited. While picture postcard photos will come around again, this is less likely.

On our way home we passed through Turre which was still in full fiesta mode. Like this view of the Main Street as you can just make out the lights of Mojacar pueblo in the sky
