Last hurrah

For my tulips. 

They have been in flower for a solid month, but the last couple of days has really hammered them.  Strong winds and pelting rain have just about finished them off.

We have some decent weather forecast over the next few days, which should dry things off a little.

The market gardeners have really suffered, and most of them to the north of Adelaide have lost their crops - some are saying 30 million dollars worth of damage.  I think fruit and veg are going to be very expensive in coming weeks.

We are only 4 days into October, and already we have just about received the monthly rain average!
