Traditional Valencian scene...painted on a tile.

Walking through Alfaz Del Pi this morning, I 'discovered' some painted tiles, set into the garden wall of an old Finca .......today's Blip is of one of the tiles.
This region of Spain is very well known for its colourful painted tiles.....so these are not 'rare' sitings.....
This tile shows Valencianos, outside their steep, thatched roofed fishing hut.......typical of the Albufera wet land area......
In the garden, there is an outdoor wood fired bread oven, a well....and several free range chickens!
It's amazing what you 'find' while walking around the streets in the old part of town....frequent signs of 'traditional Spain'
