We arrived in Iceland in the wind, rain and dark last night. We are staying at a hotel in Geysir but didn't appreciate how close we were to the geysers until we had breakfast this morning! Watching them is addictive - you always want to see just one more eruption!

Managed to tear ourselves away and visit the Pingvellir National Park with the Oxararfoss waterfall. Next was the Kerio crater and we ended our day visiting the Faxi waterfall. Tired legs!

Now just hoping we might get a chance to see the Aurora tonight if the skies clear a bit more....
