Leaving St Mark's Square

Last night in Venice and Italy before we head to Slovenia for the next stage of our adventure. This is an alley-way leading away from St Mark's Square. I love the archways that give a gothic feel to the location (even though two minutes earlier I'd had a minor stand-off with some Germans who stood in the way of the shot preceding this one).

The framing of the alley way leading on to who knows where (well I do as I then walked it) means it could be an entry for this weeks challenge theme of Framed.
